Who We Are (For Parents)
The hundreds of students we have seen over the last decade have one thing in common—they're all unique. Not everyone learns the same way, but most students are taught the same way, and some of them fall behind. The key is getting your child the extra help they need immediately. At Thriving-Minds, we start with a complementary half-hour consultation for parents to discuss their student's needs and learn more about the services we offer. If the child has never had any testing, done we might recommend a comprehensive assessment be completed. Or, if a child has had previous testing, we review those assessments to determine the student’s strengths and challenges, and develop an individualized plan to get them on track. For many families, this is the first time their child's learning abilities and skills have been assessed by educational professionals, and many children emerge from our assessment process with a sense of hopefulness and optimism—and a clear path forward. Our nurturing learning environment helps students develop their academic talents and improve school performance
