Who We Are (For Doctors)
Thriving-Minds offers high-quality educational and psychological services that reflect an interdisciplinary approach in students that have identified needs in academic, social, and developmental areas, or peer relations. These students may struggle to keep up in school or with friends, and may have other related learning problems that affect areas such as memory, social skills, and executive functions. We coordinate support services as a key to a child’s success, including offering comprehensive educational and psychological evaluations. Students obtain services in social skills, academic instruction, homework strategies, educational therapy, and organizational skills, gearing students for success.
Consultations
Complimentary half-hour initial consultations are encouraged for parents to discuss their student's needs and learn more about the services we offer. If parents choose to enroll their student, we review any previous assessments and determine if further testing is necessary. Upon completion of our assessment process, we develop, a personal learning plan customized to the child's unique strengths and challenges.
